The Hexagon Paper Piecing Shapes are what you need to use for the English Paper Piecing (EPP) technique. They are reusable, pre-cut shapes made from cardstock that is heavy enough to hold its shape, but still flexible enough to be easily removed from the fabric. No sewing machine is required for paper piecing. You can fold the fabric over these paper piecing shapes and secure them with basting stitches. These pieces are then joined together by whip stitching the edges together to form larger shapes. Remove the basting stitches and paper pieces once the shapes are sewn together.
